Entropy Pool (2016) is a wireless network rooted in its particular electromagnetic landscape. The embedded computer uses a software-defined radio as a source of randomness for its entropy-pool. Since the local electromagnetic environment is not random, but is rather filled with intelligible signals. The entropy-pool is more a finger print of the local electromagnetic landscape. The computer also creates its own wireless network and web server that that provides a portion of the entropy pool as a HTML file. This entropy sample is updated once a minute. Network clients can then take a fresh sample of randomness away with them as a souvenir of their visit to that location in the electromagnetic landscape. brettbalogh.com >>> BACK <<<
